Dansons la Carioca... C'est bien faisez tous comme moi...

Mon séjour au Brésil était excellent. On pourrait croire ca comme que les voyages ca blasent mais pas du tout.4 jours à Rio, Loger dans un hotel a quelques encablures de la plage d'Ipanema, bref le top. Soit dit en passant, les plages de Rio ne sont pas vraiment faites pour nager, et j'en ai fait l'experience en me faisant balayer parune plutot grosse vague, dans la foulée j'ai failli perdre une de mes taches de dalmatien. Je n'ai pas pu jouer au footnon plus, une des seules deceptions du voyages.
My trip to Brasil was great. One could think that travalling gets old but not at all. We stayed 4 days in a hotel located2 blocks from Ipanema Beach - pretty good. I have to say though that beaches in Rio, "Not swimmers friendly", i had the bad experience to be smashed by a wave, and almost lost one of my dalmatien black spot (mole almost surgically removed). I couldn't play football - that was a bit of a disappointment.

La plus grande aura été de voir le Christ Redempteur entouré d'echafaudage - ca craignait un peu, j'aurai du me renseigner avant. Mais bon la vue sur la baie et sur le Pain de Sucre etait magnifique, et le soleil couchant ne gachait rien à la chose non plus.
The biggest one was seeing the Christ Redemptor with the scaffolding because of his renovation. But heyi can't really complain as the view on the Bay and Sugar Loaf was pretty awesome, and at sunset it was even better.

Le jour d'après direction le Pain de Sucre, après une ascension de 30 minutes, nous voici au top avec toujours une vue magnifique sur la baie. Et d'aussi loin on ne voit pas les echaffaudages autour du Christ. Toujours soleil couchantet donc une lumière plutot sympa.
The next direction Sugar Loaf, after a 30 minutes cable car ride we ended up at the top with again this amazing view of the bay, and from there couldn't really see all that stuff around the Christ. Again sunset so again pretty good light.

dernière journée plutot relaxe sur la plage a bronzer et braver les vagues(reference au premier paragraphe).La dernière soirée se passe à Copa Cabana à longer la plage (avec des vagues toujours aussi énormes) et à regarder les differentes sculptures de sable.
We spent the last day chilling on the beach working on the tan, and braving the waves (read the first paragraph again)Last night walking along the beach of Copa Cabana (with even bigger waves) admiring the different sand castles.

Le reste du séjour un peu moins cool - etant donné qu'une grande convention sur Sao Paolo fait que plus de chambres nulle part dans le centre. donc a part une petite marche sur l'avenue Paulista, le reste se fera dans un hotel bien loin du centre à coté de l'aéroport.
The rest of the trip was not as great. because of a convention, all the hotels in the centre were fully booked and except for a walk on Avenida Paulista, i stayed in my hotel room far from everything just next to the international airport.

Très bon séjour quand même, un enseignement (à part le fait de ne pas attendre la dernière minute pour réserver), c'est vraiment frustrant d'être dans un pays et de ne pas parler le langage, donc bref va falloir me mettre au Portuguais afin d'y retourner.
Still i had a great time, one thing to learn (except for i should stop booking stuff at the last minute) it's really frustration to be in a country and not speaking the language, so i'll have to learn portuguese to go back there.

Depuis je suis retourné à Lima, pour une journée, j'ai passé un moment sympa à Miraflores, ce qui a un peu changé mon opinion sur la capitale péruvienne. Me voici désormais à San José, capitale du Costa Rica, où je séjourné quelquesjours avant de partir pour la cote pacifique et la plage d'Ostional afin d'aller aider les tortues et leur progénitures.
Since then i spent a day in Lima. I had a good time walking on the waterfront in Miraflores, it kind of changed my opinion on the peruvian capital. I'm currently in San Jose, Costa Rica, where i'm staying for a few days before heading offto the Pacific Coast and Ostional beach in order to help the turtles and their babies.
